Annual Budget - Unused and In-Process Designs
During the design process, there were several iterations that were created, but never used. Here are some of those designs:

Worked with a single stakeholder

Provided a wide range of designs for the stakeholder to choose from and to refine

For the 2020 Budget I wanted to spotlight the opening of a new Turnpike and showcase the years the other turnpikes had opened

In 2021, due to the social climate in 2020, I really wanted to pay homage to what was happening at that time with a more conservative and somber cover

During the design process, there were several iterations that were created, but never used. Here are some of those designs:

Reviewed every financial report that the agency created since its' inception and extracted key elements to be used moving forward

Came to the understanding that the state of the most recently used file for the report was unusable, so I recreated the entire report in InDesign

Researched current design trends for printed reports and magazines for inspiration, established a color scheme, and provided several designs for approvals

Held meetings with key stakeholders and presented designs to ensure approval of the creative process and to gather the legal requirements the report must meet. Some of these meetings included approvals for the style guide, images, and layout/formatting.

Trained employees and created materials to ensure the copy and Excel spreadsheets were correctly formatted for the design process

Consulted with an on-site construction photographer and provided direction for specific shots

Worked with the printer to make sure the InDesign file was correctly packaged and to proof the samples for approval
